RAAFA Pine Rivers and Sandgate Branch sponsor four squadrons of 2 Wing Australian Air Force Cadets. 212 (City of Redcliffe) Squadron AAFC & 224 SQN AAFC based at Shapcott Base, Redcliffe Aero-drome in new facilities provided to them, 220 SQN based at Aviation High Hendra, and 226 SQN AAFC based at Bray Park 

Due to the popularity of AAFC in the Redcliffe area alone, a second Squadron was raised giving enjoyment to many more young Australians who would previously missed out.
